Myisha Hines-Allen has agreed to a one-year contract with the Dallas Wings, according to a report from Winsidr’s own Rachel Galligan.
Hines-Allen spent time with two teams in her seventh season in 2024, beginning the year with her first and only WNBA team she had played for to that point, the Washington Mystics, only to be traded right before the trade deadline to the Minnesota Lynx in exchange for a few Lynx players.
With the Lynx, Hines-Allen played some key minutes off the bench and proved to everyone she still can be a valuable veteran presence to any team in the league. In 13 appearances with Minnesota, one of which was as a starter, Hines-Allen averaged 7.5 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 2.2 APG, and 0.8 SPG, concluding the entirety of the 2024 campaign with 7.8 PPG, 4.7 RPG, 2.6 APG, and 0.7 SPG in all 40 games.
Turning 30 years old in May while entering her eighth season as a pro, Hines-Allen still has what it takes to either hold a starting job or come off the bench as a spark on the second unit. The 2025 campaign could be one where Hines-Allen proves her value even more as she did in a limited sample size with Minnesota at the end of 2024.
