Leite opens the show by describing the atmosphere in Vancouver, where the Seattle Storm played the Atlanta Dream in the league’s first ever Canada game. “It was great to be there in person,” Leite says. “As much as I love covering the league from Canada, … at the same time, just being there and like, feeling the excitement, it gives you goosebumps, and it’s so fun.”
Later on, Leite gives a run-down of some updates coming out of the WNBA. “Indiana has been struggling,” Leite says, “but they did sign Odyssey Sims, who is fantastic, and I hope that she is able to help with the void that they have in the back court.” Leite also predicts in the show that the Golden State Valkyries would beat the Chicago Sky on Friday night, and she got that one right — the Valkyries defeated the Sky 90-59.

Leite closes out the show by talking about how special it is to have Canadian players playing in the WNBA. “Laeticia Amihere is here playing, … Bridget Carleton, Kia Nurse,” Leite lists off, just to name a few. “And there has been such a like, long list of people who have come before them. … So yeah, it’s really exciting.”
