Megdal starts the show by asking Siegrist the obvious question — how does she make time for all of her commitments? “Angel Reese always says that you got 24 hours in your day, so you gotta maximize it,” Siegrist says. “So, just trying to maximize everything. And, you know, take advantage of all the opportunities.”

Later on, Megdal asks Siegrist about her growing role with the Dallas Wings, as well as the changes that have come to the franchise. “I’m super excited,” Siegrist says. “I think we got a great new team vibe that seems, you know, you could just feel it. … We have a lot of great pieces, a lot of great players that I can’t wait to play with.”

Megdal also asks Siegrist about how her confidence has grown in her years both in the WNBA and as a coach. “I think from year one to year two I definitely had a shift in mindset,” Siegrist says. “Year two, it’s like, I’m supposed to be here, I’m here for a reason.”

Megdal and Siegrist close out the show by discussing whether or not coaching could be in Siegrist’s future in a more permanent way. “Well I definitely think that like, I won’t be able to walk away from the game completely,” Siegrist admits. “Basketball has given me too much, and I’m always going to love it.”
