The highly anticipated launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series is just around the corner, with the official unveiling set to take place on January 17th in San Jose, California. The event will begin at 10 am Pacific Standard Time (PST) / 1 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). Mark your calendars and get ready to experience the cutting-edge technology and innovative features that Samsung has in store for us.
The training document for the Galaxy S24 series highlights several interesting features, including the ability to deliver optical quality zoom at 2x, 3x, 5x, and 10x using a higher-resolution sensor and improved image processing. Additionally, the document mentions that the displays on the three phones will be up to 48% brighter in sunlight, thanks to thinner bezels and a larger vapor chamber (up to 1.9x larger on the Galaxy S24 Ultra) to keep the internals cool.
The document also confirms that the Galaxy S24 series will have a faster touch response, measuring 12% faster than previous models. This means that users can expect smoother, faster-paced gaming control.
In terms of hardware, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in all markets, while the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ will be powered by the deca-core Exynos 2400 SoC in most regions. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will come in Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow color options, while the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 will be available in Onyx Black, Marble Gray, Cobalt Violet, and Amber Yellow. Notably, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to feature a Titanium build.
