The Atlanta Dream are trading guard Kristy Wallace to the Indiana Fever for guard Danielle Robinson, our Rachel Galligan reported on Friday.
Wallace, 27, joined the Dream last season, her first in the WNBA. Wallace averaged 6.6 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists on 40.7 percent shooting in 20.8 minutes per game.
Robinson, 33, will be on her sixth team when she joins the Dream. Drafted sixth overall in the 2011 Draft by the San Antonio Silver Stars, Robinson played five seasons in San Antonio before being traded to the Phoenix Mercury in 2017. After playing one season in Phoenix, Robinson was traded to the Minnesota Lynx in 2018. In 2020, Robinson joined the Las Vegas Aces, where she helped the franchise reach the WNBA Finals. The veteran point guard then joined the Indiana Fever in 2021. In 2022, her second season in Indiana, Robinson averaged 7.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.8 assists, on 41.9 percent shooting in 23.6 minutes per game.
