Apple has announced that their highly anticipated Vision Pro spatial computing device will be available for purchase in the United States starting February 2nd. Those eager to get their hands on the cutting-edge technology can pre-order it beginning Friday, January 19th at 5 AM PT, with prices starting at $3,500.
In a statement, Apple CEO Tim Cook expressed his excitement about the device, saying, “The era of spatial computing has arrived, and Apple Vision Pro is the most advanced consumer electronics device ever created. Its revolutionary and magical user interface will redefine how we connect, create, and explore.”
The Vision Pro App Store will offer a wide range of compatible iOS and iPadOS apps at launch, with over 1 million options available. Additionally, the store will feature unique experiences tailored specifically for the Vision Pro. While the exact number of bespoke Vision Pro apps available at launch remains unclear, Apple’s commitment to developing innovative and immersive experiences for their customers is evident.

Popular games like NBA 2K24 Arcade Edition and Sonic Dream Team can be enjoyed on any screen size, complete with rich audio and compatibility with widely used game controllers. Furthermore, innovative spatial games such as Game Room, What the Golf?, and Super Fruit Ninja leverage the advanced capabilities of Apple Vision Pro to create immersive experiences that transform the surrounding environment, providing players with a truly unique gaming adventure
Alongside the debut of Apple Vision Pro, the company is also launching a custom-designed FaceTime experience that takes full advantage of the headset’s advanced spatial capabilities. According to Apple, ‘FaceTime on Apple Vision Pro creates a lifelike experience where everyone on the call appears in real-time, with Spatial Audio making it seem like each person’s voice is coming from their own location.’
Additionally, Apple is offering ZEISS Optical Inserts, which attach magnetically to the headset and provide prescription lenses for $149 or standard reading lenses for $99.
Finally, the launch of Apple Vision Pro also marks the introduction of VisionOS, Apple’s latest operating system specifically developed for the new hardware Apple notes:
